​EDM, also known as electronic dance music, is produced by music producers using digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Ableton Live. EDM is intended for DJs to create a seamless mix of a selection of tracks and it is a genre of music that has been created and developed over time.

Knowing how to play several instruments isn’t a must but can come in very handy, especially when working on tight deadlines and managing various aspects of production from start to finish.
